Students love to use a microphone in class. It connects them to lesson content
and reinforces the value of good communication and presentation skills. Our
Infrared Classroom Audio System features two wireless channels to facilitate
co-presentations either with the teacher and student or with two students.
Additionally, this system connects to either MAC or PC-based teleconference
systems such as Microsoft
®
Netmeeting to create on-demand distance
learning opportunities. An additional output allows educators to connect
supplemental systems such as assistive listening devices for Special Needs
students so that every student has the opportunity to participate. Teachers
wear a lightweight rechargeable beltpack transmitter with a comfortable
headset mic while students use the rechargeable handheld wireless mic.
Included are two ceiling-mounted infrared receivers (twice the industry norm),
to pick up the complete message from the microphones without disruption.
This ensures there are no “lost words” and enables the system to be used in
rooms which are twice the average size elementary grade classroom.
For sound reinforcement in larger rooms, additional packages are available
with four ceiling or array speakers

Make Sure Every Student
in Every Part of the Learning Environment Can Hear
Audio amplification plays an important role in school settings. Why? It’s vital for every student to have an equal opportunity to
hear, to participate and to understand instruction and information. It’s about more than just volume. Proper amplification can
help assure that sound is distributed evenly and is optimally tailored to the acoustic limitations of older classrooms, cafeterias,
gyms, or auditoriums with high levels of ambient noise or inadequate sound insulation. And when classes or events occur
outdoors, educators need portability, flexibility, and adequate power to handle crowds of differing sizes. Our collection of PA
systems and accessories gives you all the right solutions for easy, reliable operation, and effective audio production.

Unable to facilitate learning for students with hearing impairments, Delaware
Valley Regional High School (DVRHS) in New Jersey was spending up to
$40,000 in outplacement costs to send these students to other districts.
To combat such high repetitive annual costs and improve the overall lesson
quality, administrators purchased 60 Infrared Classroom Audio Systems
(PAIRSYSBCS). The systems have enhanced the classroom environment
through multimedia-rich lessons for both general and special education
students alike.
